Pour la commémoration du 29 mars 1947, le couple présidentiel et la moitié des membres du gouvernement d’union nationale du Premier ministre de consensus malgache, Camille Vital, se sont rendus par route dans la ville de Moramanga où a eu lieu le début d’une lutte sévèrement réprimée par l’armée des colons français.
Pour ce 29 mars 2011, après le traditionnel dépôt de gerbes de fleurs au mausolée, la remise de médailles aux vétérans, survivants de cette triste page de l’Histoire malgache, toujours non élucidée totalement (il paraît que la date de prescription a été étendue à 70 ans), Mialy et Andry Rajoelina ont procédé à l’inauguration du Musée spécialement dédié aux évènements de 1947, promis l’an dernier. Sur la photo, au micro et à gauche du couple Mialy et Andry Rajoelina, Julien Rakotonaivo, Délégué général de L'Ofnac (Office national de la Culture, qui explique : " Ce musée rassemble, en ce moment, 90 éléments liés à l'histoire de la lutte contre la colonisation : textes manuscrits, photos, outils divers ".

Vous mes amis ici, à Moramanga, descendants de ces vaillants patriotes,
Mesdames et Messieurs,
Nous sommes à la veille de la célébration des 51 ans de l’Indépendance de Madagascar. Une Indépendance qui nous a coûté cher et qui nous est précieuse. En effet, il y a 64 ans, nos aïeux qui avaient le patriotisme dans le sang se sont dressés contre l’armée des colons. Comme nous le savons tous, cette lutte a occasionné de nombreuses pertes humaines. Tous les patriotes que comptait la Grande île se sont levés pour endiguer cette vague d’envahisseurs. Tuerie, bestialité inouïes ont été commises sur des innocents, particulièrement dans cette région de l’Est de l’île.
Nous n’avons pas le droit d’oublier tout cela et nous ne pourrons jamais l’effacer de notre cœur, de notre esprit jusqu’à la fin des temps. La question qui se pose aujourd’hui est : combien y-a-t-il de Malgaches réellement patriotes ? Combien de Malgaches possèdent-ils en eux cette flamme jamais éteinte du patriotisme ? C’est cela qui nous a amenés à choisir le slogan de la commémoration de cette année. Qui est : « Renouvelons la flamme du patriotisme pour que cette lutte ne demeure pas qu’une simple histoire ». Lutte menée par nos grands-parents et nos aïeux.
Le patriotisme peut s’expliquer et s’appliquer partout : à l’école pour les enfants ; au travail ; dans les champs ; à la campagne comme à la ville. Car toutes les responsabilités qui incombent à chaque Malgache devraient être accomplies avec amour et pour la patrie, afin de pouvoir participer pleinement au développement du pays. Le patriotisme commence par le courage de réagir et la volonté d’apporter sa contribution dans le développement du pays.
Mais l’Histoire doit être connue, comme doit être connue l’origine même du mot « Tanindrazana ». Ce mot signifie littéralement la terre d’où sont sortis nos aïeux communs. Aïeux qui ont lutté de toutes leurs forces. Et c’est grâce à leur lutte que nous avons retrouvé notre Indépendance est qu’est née la Première République. Et c’est cette flamme du patriotisme qui est parvenue jusqu’à nous, jeunes d’aujourd’hui. Flamme que nous avons aussi le devoir de transmettre à nos descendants. En l’époque actuelle, elle nous a permis de mettre en place la IVè République. Mais celle-ci n’aurait jamais vu le jour s’il n’y avait eu en nous la foi, l’espérance et l’amour lors de la lutte de l’année 2009, Mesdames et Messieurs.
Tant que les couleurs du drapeau national malgache seront le vert, le blanc et le rouge, nous devrons nous lever, nous devrons avancer ensemble pour la sauvegarde de la patrie, Mesdames et Messieurs.
Malgaches mes amis innombrables,
Il l’a été prouvé le 26 mars dernier, et nous l’avons montré au monde entier : les Malgaches sont des gens du dialogue et des échanges d’idées ; les Malgaches sont des gens du consensus et de la solidarité. Je suis persuadé que les nouveaux dirigeants qui viennent d’être nommés, au terme de l’actuelle transition, seront éclairés et guidés par cette flamme du patriotisme mais qu’ils n’iront pas poignarder dans le dos les 20 millions de Malgaches qui portent tous leurs espoirs sur nous.
J’espère que la commémoration en souvenir de ces patriotes, aujourd’hui 29 mars, constituera un exemple à suivre et sera le turbo qui nous poussera, nous les dirigeants sans exception de cette transition, à bien nous conduire et nous permettra de prouver que nous serons ce flambeau qui éclairera la voie du peuple malgache vers la mise en place de toutes les institutions de la IVè République. Cela, dans l’humilité, l’amour et la solidarité que chacun de nous démontrera. Ce patriotisme constituera un flambeau qui devra se transmettre de générations en générations, sans qu’il y ait de marchandage d’aucune sorte. Ce patriotisme devra être respecté sinon être considéré comme sacré.
Le message que je voudrais transmettre à tous les jeunes est d’avoir la volonté et le courage d’affronter les difficultés avec cette flamme du patriotisme comme arme, tel que l’ont démontré nos grands-parents et qui est parvenu en chacun de nous. Ne soyez jamais envahi par le désespoir, quoi qu’il arrive et surtout face aux actuelles manœuvres tentées par certains pour saboter purement et simplement l’avenir de Madagascar et l’avenir de la majorité des Malgaches, leurs propres compatriotes. Mon souhait venant du fond de mon cœur est qu’ensemble nous nous levions tous comme un seul homme pour défendre nos acquis -surtout à l’heure actuelle- et pour parvenir à mettre en place toutes les institutions de la IVè République. Cela, dans la sérénité, l’amour mutuel et la solidarité.
J’ai prouvé et je le répète encore : je ne renierai jamais la parole donnée et je ne reculerai jamais ; nous ne reculerons jamais. Nous poursuivrons la route qui nous mènera au but que nous nous sommes fixés afin que Madagascar soit sauvegardé et mette le cap sur le vrai développement.

Malagasy, my friends compatriots,

We are on the eve of the celebration of the 51 years of the Independence of Madagascar. An Independence which cost to us dear and that we precious. In effect, 64 years ago, our ancestors with patriotism in blood stood against the army of the settlers. As we know it all, this conflict caused numerous human losses. All patriots whom counted the Big island got up to confine this invaders' wave. Prodigious killing off, barbarism were made on innocent, particularly in this region from the east of the island.
We do not have the right to forget all that and shall not never be able to us erase it of our heart, our mind till the end of time. The question which settles today is: how much is there Malagasy indeed patriotic? How much of Malagasy have they in them this flame ever put out by patriotism? It is it that has us lead to choose the slogan of the commemoration of this year. Which is: “ Let us renew the flame of patriotism so that this conflict does not reside that a simple history ”. Conflict led by our grandparents and our ancestors.
Patriotism can explain and be applied everywhere: at the school for the children; at job; in fields; in the campaign as in the city. Because all responsibilities which fall to every Malagasy should be fulfilled with love and for fatherland, to be able to participate entirely in the development of the country. Patriotism begins with courage to react and will to contribute in the development of the country.
But History must be known, as must be known the origin of word " Tanindrazana " (Fatherland). This word means the earth literally where from went out our common ancestors. Ancestors who struggled of all their force. And it is thanks to their conflict that we found our Independence is that the First republic was born. And it is this flame of patriotism that reached until us, today's young persons. Flame that we also have duty to transmit to our descendants. In actual epoch, she allowed us to set up IVè Republic. It was proved to it on March 26th of this year, and we showed it in the whole world: the Malagasy are people of dialogue and exchanges of ideas; the Malagasy are people of general agreement and solidarity. I am persuade that the new leaders who have just been named, at the end of actual transition, will be lit and will be guided by this flame of patriotism but that they will not go to stab in the back the 20 millions of Malagasy which carry all their hopes on us.
I hope that the commemoration in memory of these patriots, today March 29th, will constitute an example to be followed and be the "turbo" which will encourage us. Us the leaders without exclusive of this transition, to drive us well and will allow us to prove that we shall be this torchlight which will light the way of the malagasy people towards the installation of all institutions of IVè Republic. It, in humility, love and solidarity which each of us will show. This patriotism will constitute a torchlight which will have to be passed on of generations in generations, without there being negotiation of any kind. This patriotism will have to be respected otherwise considered as blessed.
The message, which I would like to transmit to all young persons, is to have will and courage to confront difficulties with this flame of patriotism as weapon, such as showed it our grandparents and that reached in each of us. N e be never pervaded by the despair, whatever happens and especially facing actual maneuvers attracted by some to sabotage purely and simply the future of Madagascar and the future of the majority of the Malagasy, their own compatriots. My wish from the bottom of my heart is that together we all get up as the single man to defend our knowledges - especially at the actual hour and to manage to set up all institutions of IVè Republic. It, in calmness, mutual love and solidarity.
I proved and I still repeat it: I shall never disavow given word and I shall never stand back; we shall never stand back. We shall follow the road which will lead us to purpose that we settled so that Madagascar is safeguarded and heads for true development.
