J’ai bien attendu (longtemps comme la soeur Anne) une dépêche de la très professionnelle Afp, toujours prompte aux scoops. Mais comme cette agence française de presse, qui se décrédibilise elle-même, n’a pas daigné accorder une quelconque importance à la réponse de la Sadc, je me suis débrouillé pour avoir le communiqué qui condamne sans détour le retour impromptu de Melle Lalao Rakotonirainy, épouse Ravalomanana. Il faut croire que l’Afp ne donne pas libre champ à sa correspondante sur place. Très bizarre. Et que les forumistes anonymes, propres aux insultes, interprètent ce qu'ils veulent: la réalité est là et le silence des U.S.A. est également sans équivoque. Il paraît que Marc Ravalomanana, le fieffé menteur va aller se plaindre à Mme Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, qui succède à Jean Ping à la tête de la Commission de l'Union africaine. Le coup de boomerang risque d'être à répétition alors.

MADAGASCAR MEDIATION
1- The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Ministerial Committee of the Organ (MCO) Troika was instructed by the decision of the Extraodinary Summit of Heads of State held in Lunada on 1 June 2012 to convene a meeting between the President of Transition, H.E. Mr Andry Rajoelina and H.E. Mr Marc Ravalomanana.
2- Accordingly, the meeting between the two parties H.E. President of the High Transition Authority Andry Rajoelina and H.E. Former Pressident Marc Ravalomanana took place in Seychelles on 23-25 July 2012.
3- The meeting resulted in progress being made in bringing the two parties closer to an amicable agreement that would adequately address some of the current implementation challenges by the stakeholders and signatories to the Roadmap.
4- On the basis of the meeting, MCO Troika remains confident that the outstanding issues emanating from it can be resolved within the next few weeks, provided that both parties remain committed and continue with the necessary good faith and spirit displayed during the Seychelles negociations.
5- MCO Troika has noted, with dismay, the surreptitious attempt by Mrs. Ravalomanana to enter Madagascar in contravention of the current engagement with the Troika and Government of Transition as the issue surrounding the return of H.E. Mr Ravalomanana and his family (including his wife) is still being negociated and to be included as part of the final agreement started in the Seychelles.
6- The MCO further strongly condemns this action which is not in tandem with the letter and spirit of the current negociations.
7- Finally, MCO Troika makes the clarion call to all Malagasy stakeholders signatories and civil society to rally behind this process and ensure that the two parties H.E. Mr Rajoelina and H.E. Mr Ravalomanana speedly finalise the outstanding issues of the agreement in order for Madagascar return to constitutional normalcy and a democratic dispensation.
